Acceptance. This agreement is considered accepted by Uncle Buck's when it has been signed and returned by the customer. By signing this you have accepted and agreed to all of the terms. Use of the rental equipment is acknowledgment of your signature. All charges are for time out. Orders made by phone will be reserved for five days. If the contract is not signed and returned promptly the reservation will be cancelled.

Cancellation. No cash refunds will be given. In store credit will be given for orders canceled 15 days or more before your event. No in store credit will be given for cancelled orders for events in June, July and August. Changes to your order are subject to availability and cannot be made during the three days prior to the rental date.

Charges. Rental rates are as stated on the front of this agreement. All charges are for time out and will increase if kept longer. It is your responsibility to care for the items while in your possession. If something is lost, broken, or returned dirty you will be charged. Sales and Use taxes of 6% are collected by the State of Michigan for all nonfood sales and rentals.

Payment. A deposit of one half of the contract amount is required at the time of reservation. Payment for the balance and security deposit is due before delivery. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express, cash or personal check for payment. When you pay by check, you expressly authorize this merchant, if your check is dishonored or returned for any reason, to electronically debit your account for the amount of the check plus a processing fee of $25. The use of a check for payment is your acknowledgement of this policy and its term. You are agreeing to pay all collection costs, including reasonable attorney's fees and expenses if extended payment terms are granted and not met. Account receivable customers agree to pay the balance due by the 10th of the following month. If payment is not received by the 1st day of the month following the due date, a 1% finance charge will be added, and will be added for each month until the balance due is paid in full.

Security Deposit. Your credit card number has been placed on file with Uncle Buck's. This agreement shall serve as your authorization to pay amounts due for any unpaid rental due prior to delivery and any additional labor and/or replacement charges incurred after the completion of the event. The signer guarantees full payment for all charges under this contract. In the event that card charges are declined the signer agrees to pay all balances due at once.

Delivery is based on ZIP codes. We must travel the distance to your house four times to deliver and pickup. Our delivery personnel will neatly stack all items in a mutually convenient place on delivery. An extra charge may be added for carrying items to your lakefront or basement, if not disclosed prior to delivery. Additional trips for pickup will be charged, please notify us if you can't be there or have the items out for pickup. Pick-up or Return of china, silver, utensils, etc., items shall be rinsed free of food and replaced in their delivery containers. Linens should be shaken free of all debris and dried to prevent stain and mildew. Damaged linens will be charged as sold. Tables and chairs should be assembled in a single location specified above, ready for pick-up. Items not meeting these conditions are subject to additional charges. The responsibility for rented items is yours from the time of delivery until the time of return. Please be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather.

Condition. The described personal property has been inspected at the time of delivery and was in good and serviceable condition and counted, unless otherwise noted. The renter agrees that in the event any of the property becomes unsafe or in a state of disrepair, to discontinue use and promptly notify Uncle Buck's immediately of any damaged materials that warrant unsafe use, such as broken chair or table legs, otherwise it is assumed that the damage occurred during use. Uncle Buck's will have the option to replace or credit any item deemed not safe for use, and have the discretion over whether a replacement should be delivered. The property will be returned at the time stated, in the same condition in which it was received, ordinary wear expected, and the renter agrees to pay for any loss, damage or additional charges incurred immediately. Your credit card information has been given for the purpose of paying late charges and damages and is not subject to dispute.

Liability. Uncle Buck's is the owner but not the manufacturer of the equipment. No warranty against defects in material is given, and permission is granted for its use. The renter waives and releases Uncle Buck's from all claims for injuries or damages to Lessee arising from the use of the property. Ownership is, and shall at all times remain with Uncle Buck's Party Tyme, Inc. and only the parties named hereon are authorized to use the property and only at the place named. This includes guests at a party or event for which items are rented. Insurance endorsements will be provided upon request.

Signature. Your signature on the front of this copy is acknowledgement that you have read and understand these terms and conditions.
